bakedbylaynie

Don't you just love it when you can hop into your pantry and use what you have for a last-minute treat? The possibilities are endless when it comes to Halloween treats. Here are four kid- and parent-approved treats.

First, candied grapes are all the rage right now. This couldn't be easier, and most likely you have all the ingredients.

Candied Grapes Ingredients:

Green Grapes - cleaned and dried

Jolly Ranchers - 10-15, separated by color

Toothpicks

Nerds

Place your clean and dried grapes on your toothpick individually.

Microwave Jolly Ranchers for 30 seconds or until the candy is fully melted.

Move quickly as the Jolly Ranchers will harden fast. Dip each grape into the melted candy until fully coated. Immediately dip in the Nerds to coat.

Place on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet and continue with all grapes.

You can freeze them or eat them right away.

Next up are worms in slimy jello and Oreo dirt.

Worms in Jello Ingredients:

Starburst watermelon green jello

Gummy worms

Crushed up Oreos

Prepare your jello according to the package, but pour it into separate plastic cups halfway.

Add gummy worms to the jello cups before putting them in the fridge.

Place your cups in the fridge for 2 hours or until they set up.

Crush 6-8 Oreos and add them to the top of your set-up jello.

Halloween milk is the most fun.

Halloween Milk ingredients:

Plastic cups

Marshmallow Fluff

Sharpie marker

Orange or any color food gel coloring

Add a swipe of Marshmallow fluff around the cups to make different-sized ghost-like figures.

Add a face of eyes and mouth to each cup.

Color your milk to your desired color, add to the cup and enjoy.

Giant Marshmallow on a Stick

Marshmallows on a Stick ingredients:

Giant Marshmallows (as many as you want to make)

Wooden skewers or popsicle sticks

Chocolate for melting

Eyeball sprinkles

Prepare your marshmallows on each stick and set aside.

Microwave your chocolate in 30-second intervals.

Dip the tops of your marshmallows in the chocolate, and turn over so the chocolate drips down a bit.

Add your eyeballs in any pattern you want.

Place your dipped marshmallows in a jar to dry.
